Original era manufacture. An interesting lot consisting of an 1814 dated Prussian Napoleonic Wars medal, and a silver coin of the era with an enameled maltese cross on one side. The campaign medal shows surface wear, and is impressed on its rim "made from captured cannon" in German. On the reverse it states Prussia's Braver Warriors, and God was with us, all honor is to him. The ribbon shows age, but might be an old replacement. The coin is of interest, being 33 mm across, and displays a mounted King, receiving cheers from his people, and below Mitt Gott fur Konig und Vaterland 17-3-1813. On the reverse, the surface has been shaved and a black enamel cross set into the center. You can see this modification clearly when looking at the edge of the coin, as the motto Gott Mit Uns shows a portion of the lettering missing.Normal age and wear overall.
