Original era manufacture. 30mm bronze medal presented by King Friedrich Wilhelm IV of Prussia to those who served during the Revolution of 1848-1849. In 1848 populist social reform revolutions swept much of Europe, demonstrations in the city of Berlin led to street fighting and arrests which resulted in the deaths of over 200 people. Complete with its original ribbon.
