Original era manufacture. Brass trimmed enlisted quality helmet, size marked 57 on the interior. At some point in the past a previous owner thought it wise to polish up all of the metal components, this eliminating whatever original patina once existed there. Now the spike base has a decided copper appearance to it, unlike the bright brass finish to the remainder. No extra holes behind the wappen, the liner is dry with a few missing fingers, both visors appear to be resewn. No cockades, the chinscales are original and are a tight fit
