Original period manufacture. Plated steel blade measuring 31.5 inches in length, with a very slight drift to the right about 4 inches back from the point. No corrosion issues to the surface, just minor age and wear, small amount of missing surface plating at the point. The most of the original red felt bumper is present at the base of the blade. Ornate fire gilded cast brass grip with a lion head pommel, fitted with red glass eyes. Black plastic wrapped grip, bound with triple strand wire.Most of the original blue finish remains on the scabbard body, with both throat screws present. Single suspension loop, with a scattering of small dents to the surface. Overall a very nice quality sword in very clean condition.
