Original period manufacture. Chromed steel, blade measuring 30.5 inches in length, runs fairly straight and true. No corrosion issues to the surface, unmarked ricasso. Ornate, gilded cast brass grip with a lion head pommel, fitted with red glass eyes. Black plastic wrapped grip, bound with triple strand wire.Mix of black paint and steel patina finish to the scabbard with both throat screws present. About 60% of the original finish remains, dent free surface.
