Original era manufacture.Gold wire embroidery on a black silk ribbon, full length. The SMS Hannover. The Hannover was a pre-Dreadnaught era Deutschland class battleship and was commissioned in 1907. She served throughout WWI and with the Postwar Reichsmarine and decommissioned in 1931. Broken up for scrap in 1944. During the Battle of Jutland the Hannover nearly collided with the burning hulk of SMS Pommern which exploded from a direct hit in an ammunition bunker by a British torpedo. Normal age and wear.
