This is a very nice, original work of art by famed military artist Brian Molloy of Wales. We met Mr Molloy many years ago at the MAX Show in Pittsburgh, where we contracted him to design the Logo for Stewarts Military Antiques. During that time we purchased other works of his in addition to a commission painting of our Civil War Reenacting Unit, the 23rd New York. Mr Molloys work has appeared in many military publications including works by Colonel Tom Johnson. This painting was done by Mr Molloy in 1994 and is signed and dated by him in the lower right corner. The image depicts a young Waffen-SS Grenadier armed with an MG-42. This would make a fine display piece in a collectors room. Professionally matted and framed.
