Original period manufacture. All steel construction, a featured peculiar to the Kingdom of Wurttemberg. The polished steel blade measures 46cm (18.5 inches), unmarked with a few shallow nicks in the blade surface and evidence of an old attempt at cleaning or polishing the surface. All steel straight guardand pommel with a leatherbumper or pad at the base of the blade. Original leather covered scabbard with a steel thoat and ball tip, partial frog remaining which is still attached to the scabbard stud. The surface of the leather is dry and flaking however the stitching remains fairly sound. The Wurttemberg model is a bit more difficult to find than the Prussian or Saxon examples.
