Original era manufactured. This interesting bayonet is a bit of a mystery. Standard 1914 sawback bayonet by Samson Werk, black painted scabbard, missing it's throat screw, but other wise quite presentable. It resides in a hand made wooden shipping box, with 1930's era 3 and 4 cent stamps affixed to one corner of the lid. They total 18 cents total shipping costs, so we all know this was mailed quite a few years back. Addressed to an individual in Corning New York, from an individual in Cleveland Ohio. We all would love to know the back story on this.....
