Original period manufacture. A clean example with a lightly service sharpened edge to the blade, no corrosion, sound stitching to the leather scabbard body and nice 2nd pattern two piece wood grips. Matching unit marks on the guard and scabbard throat; 180.R.9.57 (10th Wurttemberg Infantry Regiment Nr.180, 9th Company, 57th Weapon).
