Original period manufacture. Very sound example with a blue finished blade which is maker marked on the ricasso. The spine is Crown L 18 proofed. Nice wood grips showing with no cracks or chips to their finish. Dark steel patina to the pommel and guard. The steel scabbard shows a mix of blue finish and steel patina with some bumping and denting along the lower right edge. Sound brown leather, 1917 Berlin marked Turkish pattern frog.
