Original period manufacture. Very clean blade which is maker marked by Weyersberg Kirschbaum Solingen and is crown proofed and dated 15 on its spine. "High Ear" type guard with unit stamps of VIII.14.2.K.163. Nice serrated wood grips, steel patina to pommel and guard. Later type blue steel scabbard with a sizable dent below the frog stud, decent amount of finish remains however. The pommel lock button sticks.
