Original period manufacture. A transition model of sorts made without a flashguard. Bright polished steel blade with the J.Corts logo on the reverse ricasso. Crown W 15 proof on the spine. Sound wood grips showing typical age and wear but no real damage. Dark steel patina guard and pommel with an operable lock button. Steel patina scabbard with a good size dent in the body on the reverse just below the frog. Sound black leather frog is not period to the bayonet, looks good though.
