Original era manufacture. A standard pattern Butcher bayonet which is marked on it's spine crown L 18, making it a Bavarian issue bayonet. Maker marked on it's ricasson, Fichtel & Sachs-Schweinfurt. Reissued in the postwar period with a blue finished blade, pommel and guard with the date 1920 on the guard. Blue finished steel scabbard with some very minor surface denting and corrosion. A clean bayonet.
