Original era manufacture. Standard Butcher pattern bayonet from the Great War. Unusual makers name on the ricasso, R. Stock & Co. Berlin-Marienfelde, with a crown W 16 on the spine.The blade is clean and bright, with no issues beyond normal age and wear. The guard, pommel and flash-guard display evidence of old cleaned corrosion.Sound wooden grips with typical marring and denting from service use. The blue steel finish scabbard is dent-free, displaying a peppering of surface corrosion mixed with the blue.
