Original period manufacture. 98/05 sawback bayonet made by Deutsche Maschinenfabrik Duisberg. Sawback removed during WWI, blade displays a polished surface. Nice wood grips, steel patina to the guard and pommel, lock button works properly. Proper pattern steel scabbard but I believe it is new made. Black satin finish to the blade surface, black leather frog with a German makers name on its reverse.
