Original era manufacture. A service quality bayonet, maker marked on the ricasso, Simson & Co. Suhl, on the spine there is a crown W16 proof.Battered wooden grips and flashguard, mostly on the right side, lock button works properly. Clean blade with a dark finish, no corrosion issues. Heavily dented steel scabbard, no corrosion, the blade is a bit of a tight fit.
