Original period manufacture. All metal ersatz version of the standard 98/05 Butcher pattern bayonet. Nice bright blade with a distorted crown proof on the blade spine. The blade is clean but the tip is slightly bent to one side, tip remains sharp. Feldgrau painted two-piece steel grip with an open style muzzle ring and a forward swept guard. Sheet steel feldgrau painted scabbard whichis seamed in back. The scabbard shows some scattered light surface denting but nothing severe. Comes with an old looking, non-German leather frog.
