Original period manufacture. Early war production bayonet made without a flashguard onspine and "high ear" style partial muzzle ring.Scarce makers name on the ricasso, R.Stock & Co.Berlin-Marienfelde and crown W 15 on the blade spine. The blade is clean, shows an even steel patina with some nicks to the edge of the spine, not the cutting edge. The serrated wood grips have been varnished and show light bumping and marring from service use. No issues with the guard and pommel, lock button works properly. Correct leather bodied scabbard with a metal tip and throat. The scabbard is of proper length for the blade but will close leaving a 14mm gap between the throat and guard. Might be something stuck inside the tip, don't know.
