Original era manufacture. Early pattern bayonet made without a flashguard on the grip. The blade is bright and clean with no real issues, although when they removed the sawback the issue marks and makers name went as well. Throwing the baby out with the bath water sort of thing. Decent wooden grips with a dark steel patina to the pommel and guard. Scabbard is dent free but shows a mix of blue and cleaned steel with a patch or two of surface corrosion.
