Original era manufacture. At first glance one would think this to be just another NSKK crash helmet, instead, we find a WWI German issue Pilots helmet.Cork bodied helmet covered in a black painted canvas covering, brown leather liner, and fold-down ear coverings and securing strap.The interior of the helmet is of gray canvas, and displays on the neck covering period issue markings. The helmet is quite sound, exhibiting normal age and wear for its 100 years existence.
