Original era manufacture.Clean, good quality issue feldgrau wool visor hat with red wool piping and band. Enlisted quality national and Bavarian painted cockades, with a black pressed fiber visor. Brown oilcloth sweatband which is securely sewn to the cap band. Simple light blue cotton lining, displaying honest wear and age. The hat is not crushed or mothed, the visor is distorted a bit from storage but is securely sewn to the body of the hat. Honest WWI era hat with no moth issues.
