Original period manufacture.  A very sound old helmet with no issues with the body and stitching. Silver color non-removable spike, spine with ventilator slide, and matching visor trim. Silver Bavarian wappen, with no extra holes in the body behind the plate. Unit marked on the underside of the rear visor PB2, Pioneer Battalion 2. The chinstrap is a good quality older replacement with silver color adjusting buckles and brass connectors. The national kokard is an original, while the Bavarian on is in my opinion an older replacement.
