Original era manufacture. A very sound example originally finished in afactory brown color, then dyed black for later service use. Clear 1918 date, and Hanover makers name. The loading tool pocket is intact, and the leather surface has a very nice gleam to it. Very minor scuff marks, stitching is tight throughout, a very clean example for its 100 year age. The closure strap shows surface cracking and crazing, but is quite pliable and unbroken.
