Original era manufacture. Of a pattern introduced in 1887, and modified in 1911 when the brown color was changed. This breadbag retains all three of the original belt suspension straps present. Single leather loop on the canvas flap for the canteen body strap, witha steel D-Ring above.Inside the body of the bag is divided into two compartments, with a leather closure strap, only one flap securing button remains, the fabric has faded to a light gray color. No markings remain, displaying honest service use.
