Original era photography. A very interesting image, card mounted, which measures 3 x 6.5 inches. It depicts a middle aged soldier in full marching order, wearing on his head a spanking new M1915 pickelhaube with the spike removed. His facial expression speaks volumes, he appears exhausted, with no illusions as to what lies ahead.
