Original period manufacture. An interesting badge produced to mock the breech of faith by the Kingdom of Italy, when the Italians left the Central Powers to join the Allies during WWI. Austrian, German & Turkish flags over the Italian boot. Beautifully enameled badge with a pinback reverse, Gott Strafe den Treubruch (God Punish the Breech of Faith). Measures 30 mm, no enamel damage.
