Original era manufacture. Right out of the attic, or perhaps basement, is this unmolested example of the classic WWI German Stick Grenade. Original finish throughout, fairly clear stenciling remaining on the can, and markings on the handle as well. Most of the original feldgrau paint remains on the can, the suspension hook is bent to one side, with a dent next to it, and light surface corrosion on the top and side. The screwcap is intact, as is the porcelain "pull" and string.I haven't been able to removed the can from the handle, but by tapping on the side you can tell it's quite empty. A little penetrating oil will likely loosen up the threads so it can be removed. DEWAT, US Sales Only..
