German WWI Era, Officers Sword Knot

Original period manufacture. Large silver wire ball, now with a toned patina. Fairly pliable black leather strap with silver wire stitching, also with a toned patina. Not heavily encrusted with verdigris, the stitching has not pulled through. Likely Prussian.
