Original era manufacture. German Police short sword with a black leather locking sheath and a WWII, 1942 dated frog. Matching numbers of 1125, seen on the underside of the guard and top of the scabbard throat. The polished steel blade measures 21.25 inches in length, showing considerable nicks in the cutting edge and a blunted point, perhaps this was given to a child as a toy at one point, it's the perfect size for a kid. The stitching on the black leather scabbard is sound, nickel fittings throughout.
