Original era manufacture. An interesting variation, maker marked on the ricasso J.MEHLICH A.G.BERLIN.C. and marked on the spine, Crown W 15. The blade measures just under 10 inches in length, with a chrome or nickle finish to the blade, guard and pommel. Proper pattern black painted steel scabbard with a chrome or nickel plated scabbard throat. Perhaps dressed up for parades, in any case it was nicely done.
