German WWI Era, S84/98 Bayonet, Possible Railway Service

Original period manufacture. This is an interesting bayonet, standard S84/98 configuration, with a bright finished polished steel blade, wooden grips, and without any maker, or acceptance markings on the piece.Polished steel guard and pommel, with very nice original finish wooden grips, and a fairly dent free flashguard. Stamped into the guard are these letters; RBD. W.T. 238. My guess is the first three may indicate Reichsbahndienst, or Railway Service.Black leather bodied scabbard, with polished steel fittings. There is some seam separation at the top of the stitching, and some scattered areas of surface flaking, but overall the scabbard is quite sound. It, like the bayonet, is without markings.
