Original period manufacture. Chromed steel blade, with triple etching, both sides of the blade and on the spine. Clauberg logo under the langet. The blade finish is clean, a few tiny nicks in the cutting edge, more felt than seen. Slight bend near the point.Heavy cast brass grip with a lionhead pommel, fishskin wrapped grip, once bound with three strands of wire, now only two remain.Wrapped around the grip is an original officers quality sword knot of leather with wire decoration.Dent-free, black painted steel scabbard, with both throat screws remaining intact, with about 80% of the original finish remaining.
