Original era manufacture. Similar in design to the 98/05 bayonet but of all steel construction. Very clean 14 inch blade with sawback edge, crown proof on the spine. There are 49 points on the sawback; not counting the partial points at top and bottom. Steel crossguard with an open-top muzzle ring. Pressed steel grip with traces of finish remaining, pressed steel scabbard with remnants of paint finish.
