Original period manufacture. Heavy cast steel grip with an open style muzzle ring. Polished steel blade measuring 317 mm in length, clean with a clear crown proof on its spine and fullers on each side of the blade. Typical steel scabbard with a squared off tip. Traces of feldgrau paint remain on both the scabbard and hilt.
