Original period manufacture. A very clean example illustrated in Vol. III, page 92, of German Bayonets by Carter. Bright finished blade with fullers on each side and measuring 12.5 inches in length. Two piece steel guard with a partial muzzle ring. All steel grip with a number stamped on the right side, maker marked sheet steel scabbard.
