Original era manufacture. A very nice example of the German WWI field telephone with its original black leather covered carrying case.The telephone has a large steel hanging loop at the top, with a fold-down mouthpiece and a black painted canvas covering to the center grip. Original cord and power plug intact.Black leather covered metal belt case, which is maker marked and dated 1917 on its reverse. Some stitching has opened up on the bottom portion of the case, but minor really, the case is likely more rare than the phone....
