Gustav Liersch sepia tone image of LeutnantHeinrich Bongartz, credited with 33 victories, before being seriously wounded in combat with British fighter aircraft.He lost an eye in this engagement thus ending his military service during WWI. He served in the Luftwaffe throughout WWII, dying of a heart attack in 1946.Plains reverse, no notations.
