Original period manufacture. 5.5 inch polished steel blade with the makers name on the reverse of the ricasso, on the obverse a crown proof and the last four letters of gerMANY. The blade is lightly stained from age and use but no pitting. Simple oval-shaped steel guard. Original finish wood grips with a chip at the pommel. Mix of black paint and steel patina to the dent-free scabbard, the belt loop is a replacement, however the pommel strap is original.
