Original era manufacture. A very sound condition example of the WWI German fighting knife, Nahkampfer brand.The polished steel blade measures 6 inches in length, withe word Nahkampfer acid etched into the surface on one side, with the same logo stamped into the ricasso.Lots of original polish remains on the blade surface, the point is sharp, just some light scattered scratching on the blade.Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, with original finish wooden grips with a redundant oil hole on each side.Black painted steel sheath which retains nearly all of its original finish, no corrosion issues; sound ersatz cloth belt loop, with a leather pommel strap. The strap is intact and operable but has torn away from the body of the belt loop.
