Original era manufacture. Light gray wool insignia with red wool soutache number 41. Worn on the left sleeve by members of Feldflieger Abteilung 41, a WWI German Air Service recon squadron. Minor mothing as shown, measures 4.5 x 1.5 inches. Gray cotton covered reverse.
