Original period manufacture. Commercially produced, pressed steel construction with a feldgrau paint finish. Standard pocket size match safe, however this one has an extra steel section that pivots upwards, providing a shield for wind or from prying eyes. Comes with a box of period matches. One of the coolest match safes we've ever offered, almost kept this one.
