Original era manufacture. A battered WWI German gasmask canister, with a leather mask without filter inside.Encircling the body of the canister is a strip of medical adhesive tape, upon which, a number of US postage stamps have been placed. On the lid the following information can be seen; Lloyd B Ross (maybe, tough to read) Major Inf, to Dick Whiteman, Webster City, Iowa. A terrific WWI souvenir.
