Original era manufacture. Here's something we seldom see offered for sale, original WWI steel helmet or pickelhaube leather chinstrap. Gray metal fittings with an oil finished black leather strap. The leather is fragile but not broken. We checked all of our helmets and everyone was complete, so we didn't need this one for ourselves. How about you? This should work fine for display especially on a pickelhaube.
