Original era manufacture. A very clean example in its original box of issue. Silver patina finish to the medal, with its original ribbon tucked up behind the lid ribbon. The dark maroon case has an embossed Hessian coat of arms, and the words Fur Tapferkeit (For Bravery). Nice medal.
