Original era manufacture. A grouping from our own collection, and consisting of the following; KAG marked Iron Cross 1st class with magnetic center, and most of the original finish remaining on the core, EK2document dated 1917, EK1 document dated 1918, document for the Bremen Hanseatic Cross dated 1917, document for the Hindenburg Cross 1935. In addition, his well filled out Militarpass is included, with many entries, with lists of the battles he fought in. All documents were presented to the same soldier. Also included is a history of the 17th Infantry Division, copied from the book; Histories of Two Hundred Fifty-One Infantry Divisions of the German Army, which was published by the US War Office in 1920.This division served entirely on the Western Front during WWI, the Allied estimate of the fighting capabilities of the division in 1918, still rated it a First Class designation.Wear, folds and tears to the documents, the cross is a very nice example.
