Original era manufacture. Magnetic core with a single screwpost on the reverse, wear to the core finish, with a mix of plating and patina to the frame and ribbing. The reverse has a simple, thin circular attaching plate with a hand-cut attaching nut, with a bright plated finish to the reverse of the cross. The securing plate and nut may be a period replacement. Cross measures 43 mm in width.
