Original era manufacture. Standard WWI era German Iron Cross 2nd Class. Magnetic core with most of the original finish remaining, and a nice old silver patina on frame, The ribbon is the odd thing in this otherwise rather ordinary example, soiled from age and wear, but inked on to the white stripes of the ribbon are; "11-118 St. Mihiel on the upper, and Andy Brooks on the lower. Safety pin ribbon suspension on the reverse.From our own collection.
