Original era manufacture. German WWI Iron Cross 2nd class, magnetic center with most of the original finish remaining on the core.Maker marked ring in two places, but this morning I just can't seem to get them to reveal themselves. No ribbon.Comes with one of the most unique medal cases we have ever encountered. A very small pickelhaube with a black velvet covering, brass spike & spine, with a brass chinstrap. At one time a very small eagle was glued to the front of the helmet but now lost to the ages. White cloth padded interior, just a great little case...
