Original era manufacture. Feldgrau wool, full length, single-breasted overcoat with French cuffs and two lower slash pockets. Gray cotton, partial lining, with intact pocket liners. No visible markings. Scattered mothing throughout, nothing dreadful, just typical for a garment of this type and age. The ends of the cuffs display repaired fraying from wear. No shoulder straps, but does have loops for a pair of slip-on straps. All buttons appear to be present. Size about a 42.
